Disaster Relief Activities

As a "cosmetic company," what can we do to help people affected by earthquakes, typhoons, floods and other natural disasters?
From this perspective, we have provided in-kind support, such as everyday goods, and made donations through local governments and volunteer organizations.

Support for 2019-2020 Australian Bushfires Relief

The large-scale bushfires that broke out in September 2019 have now been put out. The bushfires raging across Australia had a disastrous impact on the wildlife living there, costing the lives of more than one billion wild animals.
The devastating bushfires not only killed large numbers of lives but also are bringing surviving animals to the edge of extinction because this disaster has made it difficult for them to secure food.

In addition, we have launched a joint project with Australian cosmetic company "W Cosmetics," in which 50% of the price of MEISHOKU Limo Limo Outdoor UV (overseas limited design) will go to donations for every purchase. This donated money will be used to save wildlife affected by the bushfires, including koalas.

International assistance

We participated in the international charity event "Love Knows No Borders," initiated by Qian Wei, wife of China's State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi, to help children needing support in disadvantaged areas in inland China. This was our third time to participate, following last year’s event.

People from more than 90 embassies and international organizations in the world meet in Beijing

Every year in October, people from more than 90 embassies and international organizations in the world meet in Beijing to attend the charity event. In 2020, however, the charity award ceremony was held on December 12 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and his wife Qian Wei and more than 130 people representing embassies in China and international organizations participated in the event both online and offline. There were only a few participants from private companies, with just two from Japan.

Contributions raised at this charity event will go to children in Jinping County and Malipo County, Yunnan Province, through the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation. The contributions will be used to improve the educational environment to ensure children’s healthy growth.
We will continue to provide support so that many children can see a bright future.
